Picnics in the Park

So 417 Magazine wrote about the best parks to go to in Springfield, but they're not us, so don't read that, read this.

Phelps Grove Park, behind the Springfield Art Museum, off of Bennet Street, is the ABSOLUTE best park to go to in Springfield.

It's so quiet and pretty and chill.

You'll like it. Honest.

We have been there before, partaking in an impromptu finals week Jimmy Johns picnic. It was wonderful. A great place to get away right in the middle of town!

However, a very very very delayed picnic has been in our plans for quite some time now (like...since March). Wednesday night we finally were able to have it and it was fantastic beyond any hopes. "And dreams" - Erin

So pack your basket, make your Mojitos-to-go (the BEST picnic beverage **put them in a plastic pitcher for transporting), and grab a blanket and your favorite ceramic friendship head and go right over to Phelps Grove.

We'll be waiting.
